Traditional markets in Oman are quite common if you find yourself outside the capital.
In Nizwa, a large market is held on Friday. Vendors from distant villages come here with animals and crops. The day before, goods are arranged on stalls and sidewalks until late at night. The hustle and bustle begins here at five in the morning.
Animals are often bought straight from the car, but the animal fair is incredibly impressive, where owners present their animals as they walk through the rows of potential buyers.
A little later, young boys appear here to buy a colorful parrot, bunny or other pet…
Color that you will not experience in Europe.
